Air and Space Museum in Dulles
The Air and Space museum in Dulles isn`t actually in D.C. it is a few miles away close to the airport in Dulles. This museum is know as the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. This museum is a lot bigger than the one in D.C. The museum in Dulles has some really interesting planes, jets, and space ships.
At the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Dulles has a retired space shuttle named Discovery. This shuttle has been on adventures some space shuttles have attempted but managed to fail. The space shuttle, Discovery, on an attempt to make a landing back on to Earth with crashing, the flyers are twice as precise and careful as they would be when flying in space. With steady hands, quick reactions, and great flyers Discovery makes the landing and no one was hurt. Mission accomplished!
A record holder and my all time favorite jet sits in the middle of the entrance of Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, the SR-71 BlackBird. This jet isn`t only well-known for for it`s record of anything like that, it was in the movie Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen. This bird was the transformer Jetfire. If it weren`t for Jetfire the sun would have been blown up. That’s one, a million more Missions to go.
